The piano can be played with the Z button and arrow keys for five notes possible total. While the plaque nearby says that the first eight notes are required, as of update 1.001, this is no longer the case. To complete the puzzle, players must play the first seven notes of a particular song. Considering Undertale's soundtrack is still one of the best reasons to play it on Xbox Game Pass, this is not a bad thing.
